Candy Floss
 
complete with coloured sugar and 200 sticks
 
Step one
 
Preparation is simple. Mix one tablespoon of colour to each 10lbs of ordinary household-type 'granulated' sugar.
 
Step Two
 
FILL SMALL CENTRE BOWL WITH SUGAR AND COLOURING. KEEP SMALL CENTRE BOWL FULL OF SUGAR AT ALL TIMES.
 
Step Three
 
WET INSIDE OF LARGE BOWL TO GET FIRST CANDY FLOSS TO FORM. Out comes the candy floss.
 
Step Four
 
TURN HEATER TO NUMBER 9 TILL CANDY FLOSS IS FORMING. Simply move the stick around the drum and watch it quickly load up with the floss. THEN REDUCE DOWN TO NUMBER 6 WHILE MAKING CANDY FLOSS.
 
Step Five
 
Give to the smiling customer. TURN HEATER DOWN TO NUMBER 2 WHEN NOT MAKING CANDY FLOSS.

The process is very simple.

Sugar (usually mixed with colour) is poured into the candy floss machines 'spinning head' - this 'head' heats up the sugar into liquid while it spins it around at high speed.

The spinning head 'throw out of it' a continuous stream of thousands of thin threads of candy floss.
